Burrows Solutions has been around since 2003 at different capacities. We started out 7 years ago by shipping UBCD CDs. A few months later we found AutoPatcher and really loved that software. Spent several years distributing the CDs for AutoPatcher and helped with some development and testing tasks for their development team. A few months later we decided that we wanted to help with a freeware project and started UBCD4Win. Back then it was simply “Buy Now” buttons from PayPal. A few years later we came up with the Burrows Solutions name and slowly worked at becoming a “real” store. Burrows Solutions was officially created in January of 2008 because that is when we filed the paperwork to become a LLC. A year later we created the official Burrows Solutions site and setup our software. With that we purchased a SSL certificate and started processing credit cards through our accounting software.
In 2010 we started building a bigger reputation for ourselves. In July we became accredited by the Better Business Bureau and signing up for more security services to keep the site and your information safe and secure.
Over the years we have evolved and become a little bigger. Now instead of just CD sales we sell more computer hardware, software, and accessories. We have always stood by some pretty important principles and policies which are outlined here:
- Quality products
We stand strongly behind the products we sell. You notice the low inventory and may think negatively. If you look at it another way it is actually a good thing. We are not NewEgg, Tiger Direct, or any other “big” company that sells everything. Our low inventory is because we only sell quality products that get the job done and are reliable. It is not possible for us to test everything and we can’t guarantee perfect results with everything but our experiences with the products have been normal or superb. With any product a bad one can slip through Quality Control, it is unfortunate but true with all companies and products. Offering quality products is one of our top priorities! - Low prices
We can’t always promise or offer the lowest price on all items but we try really hard to! We have good distributors and sellers that generally give us good deals. Time is spent with a lot of the manufacturers to try and build a good relationship and to secure good pricing. We are still a small company so we do not have much buying power but we find ways for low prices. In most cases you will find that our prices are lower than the competition. - Users security
We don’t want our credit card information or other personal details stolen or given away so why would we do that to our customers?? You have our promise and guarantee that your information will never be sold or given to others. We use a lot of good software and security services to ensure that our computers, servers, and websites are safe. I don’t think anyone can honestly guarantee that they won’t be hacked, if they do they are lying. Please feel assured though because we do go to great lengths to protect your sensitive information. - Reasonable and honest shipping
Let’s be honest and realistic. There is no free shipping, the cost is always added to the price of the item. We offer honest and straight forward shipping costs. For most of the items we sell USPS is the best and most affordable option. If it is an expensive or big item though we honestly prefer UPS. Our software is setup to pull information from USPS and UPS so the price that is quoted for shipping is usually pretty well in line with what we have to pay. All USPS items are shipped with delivery confirmation but no insurance unless you pay for it. That delivery confirmation does cost a little more so the rate you see for your shipment may seem like a little more but that is because we add delivery confirmation. - Customer Satisfaction
Customer satisfaction is another top priority item. We want you to be satisfied with our products and service so you come back for more deals. It is stupid to try and cut corners or give people bad service because then they will not come back. We work hard to fix any possible mistakes we may make so please just contact us if you happen to find a problem, we will take care of your concerns. - “us” and “we”
You will notice that I throw around a lot of “us” and “we.” I do that because it makes us sound big, more professional, and because it makes us look cool. However, when I make a mistake I will admit it and will say “I.” If you subscribe to our deals newsletter, you will have seen that in June 2010 because I made a mistake and called myself out. Technically speaking though there is “us.” My wife Amy helps me with getting boxes out to USPS or UPS and does a few other tasks for Burrows Solutions. I try to have my boys help out at times also. It really is us also when you consider that it is our money that I’m spending to hopefully make us more successful. So the kids do suffer because I/we will spend money on a LCD at a great price rather than buy them the latest Super Mario game! - Personal service
You truly do get personal service from Burrows Solutions. If an order doesn’t look right you get a phone call from me. When you send in a laptop or LCD, I am the only one to work on it. If I notice that my software messed up on the shipping charges I will lower those prices on your invoice before processing your credit card payment or send you a partial refund through PayPal. Currently we are small so I think you should expect that personal service. If we ever get big enough to need an employee or two, I will still take the time to make sure everything is right.

Hello. Do the UBCD 5.01 comes with windows?
I don’t quite understand the logic of making a post like this on our “about” page but I will allow it.
Please take the time to visit the Ultimate Boot CD site and you will see the full description there. For our listings of UBCD there are links for more information. UBCD is a DOS and Linux type tool. For $5.95 I don’t think anyone should expect a ($100) Windows license for that price and it is not a Windows tool either. If you have questions please contact Support rather than posting here.
