Shipping Policies
Shipping verification and tracking may not be available for all items. Low cost items such as CDs are generally shipped with USPS to keep shipping costs as low as possible. Other items such as External hard drives and LCD monitors are generally shipped with UPS. These higher priced items have tracking numbers and are protected with insurance so no one will lose money in the event of an accident.
International shipping
In general only CD, DVD, or USB based items are for sale Internationally. If you want an item priced at more than $15 then please contact us first or place your order with the warning that it could be canceled. There are increased risk with shipping Internationally and we need to be careful so all orders will be reviewed and contact will be made with the buyer. We apologize in advance if you are in a "high risk" country and your order is canceled. Please understand also that there are absolutely no fees if your order is canceled, your payment will not be initiated or a full refund will be given so you are at no risk. If and when the order ships it is a different story. With most international shipping methods tracking numbers are not available. A majority of orders are shipped First Class mail (unless you opt for a more expensive shipping method) and can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks for the customer to receive the item. If you purchase a high priced ($15+) item then we highly recommend that you pick a method that will give a tracking number. If you do not then your order will most likely be canceled. As stated above, please just contact us first if you are unsure. We are willing to work with you if possible.
Any shipping address mistakes made by the customer are the customers responsibility. If an item is returned undeliverable we will make our best effort to contact the customer via email and phone. Additional shipping charges will apply if the item needs to be shipped out again or if a refund is requested the shipping is non refundable.
Return Policies
General Policy
These are Burrows Solutions (“Burrows Solutions”, “we” or “our”) Standard Return Policies
applicable only to products purchased by you directly from the BurrowsSolutions.com website.
- We are not big enough for the need of RMA numbers. Just send us an email and we will discuss your options.
- Products that are not eligible for return and will be sent back to you at your cost and expense if received by us:
- Any product not purchased from Burrows Solutions
- Any product without a valid, readable serial number, including but not limited to products with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number
- Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product
- Any product from which the UPC code has been removed from its
packaging (unless you received it that way from us which can be possible in rare cases)
- Any product that exhibits physical damage
- Shipping charges are not refundable
- Standard 20% restocking fee may apply to your return

- Return for replacement within: 30 days

Items covered by this policy (those products for which Burrows Solutions states "This item may be returned for a replacement or refund within 30 days only") must be returned to Burrows Solutions within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Burrows Solutions.
Limited Replacement Only 30-Day Return Policy
- Return for refund within: non-refundable
- Return for replacement within: 30 days
Products that state "This item is covered by Burrows Solutions Replacement Only 30-Day Return Policy", or items labeled as “Non-refundable” (or similar labeling) must be returned to Burrows Solutions within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a replacement of the same or equivalent item. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Burrows Solutions, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.
Software 30-Day Return Policy
- Return Retail Software for refund within: 30 days (must be unopened)
- Return OEM Software for refund within: non-refundable
- Return Defective (Retail or OEM) Software for replacement within: 30 days
Products that state "This item is covered by Burrows Solutions
Replacement Only 30-Day Return Policy", or items labeled as
“Non-refundable” (or similar labeling) must be returned to Burrows Solutions within
30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply.
Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a
replacement of the same or equivalent item. “Return” constitutes receipt
of the product by Burrows Solutions.
The
following conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in
the merchandise you have returned to Burrows Solutions being returned to you:
- Software items that have been opened (if requesting a refund)
- Software items lacking the original packaging
Monitor Standard 30-Day Return Policy
- Return for refund within: 30 days
- Return for replacement within: 30 days
- Restocking Fee: yes
- Dead/Stuck pixel return: A minimum of 8 dead/stuck pixels to declare an LCD display defective and eligible for return.
This is our Standard 30-Day Return Policy. Items covered by this
policy (those products for which Burrows Solutions states "This item may be
returned for a replacement or refund within 30 days only") must be
returned to Burrows Solutions within 30 days of the invoice date
for this policy to apply. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product
by Burrows Solutions, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.
The following
conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in the
merchandise being returned to you:
- Any LCD screen with fewer than 8 dead pixels. This is the guideline established by the majority of the product manufacturers.
- Any monitor that has been found to be damaged due to physical abuse or misuse.
Manufacturer's Warranties
- Return for refund within: non-refundable
- Return for replacement within: non-replaceable
Burrows Solutions does not offer any express warranties. However, many
of the products available through Burrows Solutions are covered by
Manufacturers' Warranties. If a product is covered by a manufacturer's
warranty, it will be stated on that product's web page. Manufacturers'
warranty details are typically available at the manufacturer's website; scroll through the manufacturers list on the home page to see a list of the manufacturers. Please note that products in this category are non-refundable unless otherwise
indicated.
Products that state "This item can be returned to
the product manufacturer only" must be returned directly to the
product manufacturer for repair or replacement, unless otherwise
required by law. For these items, the warranty policy provided by the
product manufacturer explicitly requires that any returns, repairs etc.
be requested and processed directly by the consumer (or "end-user") of
the item.
